Calipatria, CA – What an incredible day it was at the CRCD 5K Walk/Run held on Saturday, October 25, 2025! This highly anticipated event, proudly sponsored by the Calipatria Foundation, brought together our community for a day filled with spirit, fitness, and an inspiring mission to support those affected by cancer.
Participants of all ages joined the walk/run to raise funds for the Cancer Resource Center of the Desert. With a $50 registration fee, each participant received an event shirt, a colorful packet to enhance their experience, and plenty of hydration along the course.
“This event truly brought our community together for a common purpose,” shared a representative from the Cancer Resource Center of the Desert. “Every step taken has a significant impact in supporting those fighting cancer in our area.”
From seasoned runners to families enjoying a stroll, the 5K was a perfect opportunity for friends, neighbors, and families to unite for this great cause. The beautiful California scenery added to the joyous atmosphere, allowing participants to enjoy a wonderful day outdoors while making a difference.
Thank you to everyone who participated, volunteered, and contributed to the success of the CRCD 5K Walk/Run! We are proud to announce that the total donation amount for the event was $4,900. Your support truly matters and makes a difference in the lives of those battling cancer in our community.
