You are all invited to the 2nd Annual Bailando Por un Sueño. This event helps the children served here at CRCD. Our children are represented by members of the community who dance on their behalf and compete for the first place. Of course, not only the first place child wins but all children win!
Because of this magnificent event, we were able to provide gas cards for our children all year round! Did you know that children diagnosed with cancer have to travel to Rady Children's Hospital in San Diego in order to receive medical care. These families spend on food, transportation and any other expense. Most of the times, when there is a two parent household, one has to stop working in order to care for their little one and drive them for multiple appointments. Now, imagine a one parent household! These families go through very extreme financial difficulties on top of the stress the diagnosis brings.
