Cancer Resource Center of the Desert reopens after closure with community and pear suite support
The Cancer Resource Center of the Desert (CRCD) in El Centro, which was the Imperial Valley’s only nonprofit dedicated exclusively to assisting cancer patients with treatment and care, ceased operations earlier this year. Its closure eliminated a vital support system for local residents undergoing a complex medical journey.
